Kingfisher Lodge Kichwamba is located in western Uganda just outside the Queen Elizabeth National Park, 250 meters above the plains.
By car
- Taking the route Kampala - Masaka - Mbarara - Bushenyi - Ishaka
- 44km after Ishaka you see on the right the " Kichwamba Sec. School" signpost, shortly after there you branch to the left (Kingfisher signpost). After 500m you have reached Kingfisher Lodge Kichwamba. If you come to the cotton ginnery, then you have gone 1 km to far.
- Taking the route Kampala - Mytiana - Mubendde - Fort Portal- Kasese
- Passing the Main Road going through the Queen Elisabeth National Park you climb the hill. After the cotton ginnery on your left (from here 1 km) and the Honet selling point on your right, you reach a bodaboda stage at a trading centre and see the Kingfisher Signpost on your right. After 500m you have reached Kingfisher Lodge Kichwamba.
By puplic transport
- Use the big busses near the old taxi park in Kampala to Kasese via Masaka - Mbarara - Bushenyi. You may tell the conductor to drop you at the Kingfisher Lodge in Kichwamba. Usually they know the place and will drop you at the sign post " Kingfisher Lodge Kichwamba". From there it is just 500 m to the gate.
