Many places in Jinja town such as the Source of the Nile, breweries, texile factory, Owen Falls Dam, hospital, vocational training schools, local weavers or basket makers are interesting excursion destinations.
You can even go on your own to explore the beautiful countryside around the hotel. It is just a 500 meters walk to the source of the Nile or a short bodaboda ride to Jinja. There you can see the exciting market, visit the Indian temple or just a walk through Jinja town and get some nice souveniers at the african village. This could be an excursion, you can easily do on your own. And then after all, why not close the day with a refreshing drink at the Bujagali Falls an watch some foolhardy guy passing the falls just with a jerrycan under his chest?
